Our Knights of Columbus fiscal year began July 1st. Our new year is off to an exciting start with many charitable activities in the wind. Let’s keep the momentum going!
Thanks to Tim Bailey conducting the July meeting in my absence.
Our annual Tootsie Roll Drive will be coming up in August. We are targeting August 7, 8, 9 and after the masses on the 10th. Dick’s Grocery, Farm & Home, Walmart and perhaps Bizzy Bean Coffee Shop have been generous to allow us space at their locations. Please patronize these local businesses.
Please consider working one of these shifts for our cause to help people with intellectual disabilities. This tootsie roll drive is one of our most visible activities and builds good will towards our Knights of Columbus council throughout the community. Sign up at:

We are planning a Punt, Pass and Kick contest on August 23rd or September 6th due to school starting August 21st this year. Looking for volunteers with or without kids/grandkids to run this.
District Deputy, Phil Mills has an opening for an activities director for our KC district 81 which would include the PP& K contest. Please reach out to Phil if you feel called to volunteer in this noble capacity.
Somerset Council golf benefit Friday August 15th at Bristol Ridge golf course. This is one of their council’s bigger fund raisers. It’s a well-run scramble with many prizes. Let’s support our brother Knights in Somerset. Contact me for more info.
