OFFICERS MEETING 6:00PM Tuesday Jan. 13.
(Matthew 5:15, Luke 11:33) meaning you shouldn't hide your talents, faith, or good works but instead let them shine for others to see and be inspired by, just as a lamp is placed on a stand to light a whole house, not covered up. It's a call to be visible and share your gifts, not to conceal your abilities or spiritual light.
Thank you to the men who stepped up and ushered at the Christmas masses.
Many companies promote charity work and urge employees in giving back to their communities. Participating in your 2026 KC charity activities could be considered as qualifying in this regard. Looks good on resumes also.
Having trouble settling on a New Year’s resolution? May I respectfully suggest resolving to attend one of your Knights of Columbus monthly meetings in 2026? As Catholic men, we support each other’s faith journeys, discuss parish needs as well as community needs and have some fun at the same time.
We will have two speakers at the meeting January 13. New Richmond City Administrator Noah Wiedenfeld will give an update on the new library and Archway residences. Bishop Annabring Council 4902, River Falls is sending a representative to speak on their annual men’s rally for Christ to try and get more and younger men.
Looking ahead, we have scheduled our Lenten fish fry’s for Feb. 27 and March 13. Also, the next 5th Sunday is March 29 which is also Palm Sunday. Put these dates on your calendar.
Thanks for all you do.
