OFFICERS MEETING 6:00PM Tuesday, June 9.
The 2026 KC state convention was held in Middleton May 15, 16 & 17. Our council Chaplain, Fr. John Anderson, won the Blessed Michael McGivney statewide award. We also won the award for the most new recruits for the Diocese of Superior. A member of the Somerset KCs won $500 in the state raffle. Thank you, Larry Gee, for all the work you did on the history book which received a blue ribbon. Four members of our council attended. The 2027 state convention will be held May 14-16 in Middleton WI.
Thanks to all who volunteered for the roadside cleanup on May 9. Also, those who helped at the ministry fair. Your help is really appreciated. Also, those who helped on the 5th Sunday serving at fellowship.
19 men entered the KC 4th degree at an exemplification ceremony on May 19 at the hall.
June 17 there is a clergy appreciation dinner sponsored by the Ladysmith KC council. Contact me if you are interested in going. Also, council elections will be held at our June meeting. Contact me if you are interested in running for office or if you are already an officer, you are interested in moving up.
Our proposed annual budget will be presented at the June meeting.
We are certainly a vibrant busy council with a lot going on. Join in the activities and fraternity!
