We started the December meeting with a first degree, I would like to welcome Thomas Weinmeyer to our brotherhood. Please congratulate him when you see him.
We conducted our Christmas poster contest this past month, we had many great works of art from the kids. The winners this year are:

We had our 2nd annual Christmas pot luck after our last business meeting, I would like to thank everyone who brought many delicious dishes that we passed, you should not have missed this one.
We will be in need of a chairman for the upcoming free throw contest. It does not take much time and is a very enjoyable activity, please let me know if you are interested in helping out.
We are still sending out over 100 newsletters through the mail. Please help us out on our time and mailing costs by providing your email address. You will receive your newsletter sooner and always have a copied saved where you know where to find it.
Bingo
Bingo is the major money maker for our council; we will need help on Sunday nights and the last Friday night of each month. We would also love to see you and your families show up and try to win some of the big money we give out every session. Please let Doug Mills know what night you can help.
Squires
The Squires are still looking for young men to join their ranks, if you have a son or know of a Catholic young man, please encourage them to join. They have been meeting on the 1st Sunday @ 5:00 pm. Please contact Tony Kilian or Kevin Lorenz.

Robert Kunz died on January 5th. Bob joined the Knights on New Year's Day in 1956, taking all three degrees that day. Bob and his wife Kate, were active members at IC Church through the years. Please keep Bob & Kate's five children in your prayers.
Timothy Holland died on January 7th. Tim joined the Knights on October 28, 1979 and was a Third degree member. Tim played softball, bowled, and golfed on our council teams. He also chaired our Tootsie Roll Drive, organized dances, and pitched in with maintenance on the KC Hall. Please keep his wife Eileen and their three children in your prayers.
Polar Plunge
Troy Schmit is looking for some brave souls to form a KC team for the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics of Wisconsin in Eau Claire on February 22.
