Grand Knight Report:
The Diocesan meeting will be held on 09/08/2018 in Spooner, WI. All officers are encouraged to attend. If interested in going please be at the hall no later than 7:45 am.
The Punt, Pass, Kick and Soccer Challenge was again held in conjunction with the Corn Fest sponsored by The Centre. There were 22 youngsters that showed up for the event. The Soccer Challenge dominated the two events this year, 20 participated in the event.
The Hudson KC Council will be holding a 1st, 2nd and 3rd Degree on September 15th. If you are wanting to advance or want to attend the 4th Degree here in New Richmond on September 29th this would be a great opportunity. Contact Pat Earley if interested.

Youth Activities: Thank you to those that signed up to help out at the Punt, pass, kick and Soccer Challenge. It was great to see so many volunteer Knights. The youth and parents do appreciate the KC’s holding this event. There was much positive feedback from both parents and the youth.
Golf: Jeff Williams and golf team members stayed true to their winning ways and kept the paddle in New Richmond.

Bingo:
KC Bingo will be starting up on September 9, 2018. The estimated jackpot will be at $2200.00 We are always looking for help with this being our biggest fund raiser. This year and going forward you can sign up by using Sign Up Genius. This will keep everyone informed as to if there are enough signed up and you will not get as many of those annoying emails from me. Simply click on the link below and sign up it’s that easy.

Food Drive: Ed Zimmerman can always use help on the 2nd Monday of each month, 11:30 a.m. at Wal-Mart (s to help load food and deliver it to the food shelf.
In Remembrance:
I am sad to report that Past Grand Knight Timothy J. Sullivan died on August 23, 2018 at home. Tim was an Honorary Life member of our Council with 46 years of service, and active in the Lawrence P. Gherty Assembly of the Fourth Degree for 35 years. Tim served our Council as Grand Knight from 1977-78. Tim and Mary worked tirelessly on many of our Council's activities over the years. Their legacy was the Jr. High Basketball Tournament, which they started and chaired successfully for many of the 30 years it was held, raising thousands of dollars for St. Mary School. Please keep Tim and the Sullivan family in your prayers.
