I would like to thank everyone who helped make our two fish fries and our Bingo sessions afterward a great success.
Youth Activities: Knights of Columbus State free throw competition was held on Saturday March 19th. Congratulations to Seamus Scanlan who took first place in the boys 10 year old division! Seamus is a student at St. Mary School here in NR.
Bingo: Bingo is the major source of income for our council. Please contact Doug Mills with the dates that you are able to help with the games; or come and play. There are only two more months of Bingo before we break for summer.
Fish Fry: A big thank you to all who helped out with the fish fries. It would not be a success without your help. To all the people who brought the desserts as they were fantastic again this year, they help make the fish fries a huge success. A big thank you goes to Jim Brockphaler and Lakeside Foods for the donation of the potatoes and beans - it greatly helps make the bottom line look good. Also I can’t forget the morning prep crew who start at 8:00AM: Jim Olien, Mark Casey, Shawn Fox, and Ed Everson. Things would not be done without their help putting everything together. Thanks Jim & Inez for setting up the dining room. Thank you to the fish shack crew: Larry Ball, Steve & Angie Ball, Terry & Kim Palmer, Pete Durand, Kevin Lorenz & Mark Casey - you are a huge part of making the fish fries a success. Thanks to all who helped serve and to the clean-up crew. I appreciate everyone who helped!
