Next Meeting: Tuesday Dec 9th @ 7:00 pm
I would like to wish all our Brother Knights and families a very Merry Christmas season and a Happy New Year!
Our November meeting began with a memorial to honor our Brother Knights that have passed before us. I would like to thank Father Jim for helping keep their memory in our hearts and minds.
Before the start of the business meeting, Nancy Ulrich from Love Baskets gave a presentation on the workings of the program. We passed a motion to give the Love Baskets program $500.00.
Before our December meeting, we are planning a First Degree, if you know of a Catholic gentleman that is not a Knight, please ask them to join our brotherhood.
We once again donated $300.00 to buy the turkeys for the community Thanksgiving dinner.
We are in need of a chairman for the upcoming Free Throw Contest. It does not take much time and is a very enjoyable activity. Please let me know if you are interested in helping out.
VOCATIONS SUPPORT
We passed a motion to donate $500.00 each to Seminarians Adam Laski and Theodore Heino. Each of the 5 seminarians in our Diocese also received a $50 gas card for their holiday travel. We also voted to give the Superior Diocese Disabled Priest fund $150.00 and a fund for seminarian car repair $100.00.

DUES & RAFFLE TICKETS:
Statements for 2015 are included with the mailed version of the newsletter. Dues are $20 and should be mailed to Pat Earley at 1453 County Road GG, New Richmond. Better yet, you can pay your dues and receive your 2015 membership card at the December meeting. PKD (Penny a Knight a Day) supports Catholic Schools throughout the Diocese, including St. Mary’s. To support PKD, include an extra $ 3.65 with your dues.
The State Charity Raffle has been very successful over the years. However, last year we fell well short of our goal for the first time. Tickets are $5. $2 goes to our local charity fund and $3 to the State fund. Many in our local community have received grants from both the local and State funds. The $50,000 prize makes them an easy sell. Of course last year, one of our members won the Grand Prize. Contact Pat Earley for more tickets, and you can return stubs and money with your dues if you wish.
Bell Ringers
I was asked if the Knights would help ring bells for the Salvation Army again this year. They have an online sign up to make scheduling very easy. Please go to:
www.ringbells.org
Food Drive:
Ed Zimmerman can use some help on the 2nd Monday of the month, 11:30 a.m. at Wal-Mart, West end of the building delivering food to the food shelf.
Keep them in your prayers:
Brother Jessie Skramstad is once again fighting cancer; please keep him and his family, in your prayers. Also keep Dave Olson, George Dean, Tim Holland, and Terry Lizakowski in your prayers.
Bingo
We need help again this Bingo season. Bingo is the major money maker for our council; we need help on Sunday nights and the last Friday of each month. We would also love to see you and your families show up and try to win some of the big money we give out every session. Please let Doug Mills know what night you can help.
Squires
The Squires are still looking for young men to join their ranks, if you have a son or know of a Catholic young man, please encourage them to join. They have been meeting on the 1st Sunday @ 5:00 pm. Please contact Tony Kilian or Kevin Lorenz.
