I would like to wish all our Brother Knights and families a very Merry Christmas season and a happy New Year!
Our November meeting started out with our memorial mass in honor of our Brother Knights that have past before us. I would like to thank Father Jim for helping keep their memory in our hearts and minds.
We had some complaints about the toilets not working well, or some were not very handicapped friendly. After looking into the situation we decided to replace all the toilets in the building.
We had a request to donate the turkeys for the community Thanksgiving Day dinner. We donated $300.00 for the turkeys.
The Five loaves food shelf started a drive last month and was looking for canned goods or cash. We decided to donate $300.00.
After the disaster in the Philippines, our Supreme council suggested helping this country with a very rich Catholic history. We voted to send $500.00 through the Church’s relief fund for the Philippines.
We will be in need of a chairman for the upcoming free throw contest. It does not take much time and is a very enjoyable activity, please let me know if you are interested in helping out.
We had another big winner of our Bingo Jackpot on the 24th of November, it was $1,525.00. We invite you to come out and try your luck!
Dec 29th we will have a 5th Sunday and will serve doughnuts and coffee after the 9:00 mass. We could use some help setting up and cleaning up afterwards.
