Grand Knight Report:
Congratulations to the high school seniors who were awarded the KC Scholarships: Evan Derrick, Sydney Haseleu and Cole Tappe.
At the June meeting will be electing officers for the upcoming year. Please come to the meeting to be a part of the election process.
Congratulations to Fr. John Anderson who is celebrating his 25th Anniversary of ordination to the priesthood on June 10th. Thank you Fr. John for you dedication!
Al Lingen and crew cooked up a roast beef dinner for those involved in the many vocations in the church. 51 volunteers were served. Great turn out and thank you Al and crew.
Thank you to the IC youth who helped clean up the long stretch of road from Ready Randy’s to Erin Corners. A comment was made that there needs to be more KC members help out to support our youth.

Youth Activities:
The Punt, Pass and Kick and Soccer Challenge will be held again this year in conjunction with the Corn Fest on August 25, 2018. If you are interest in help head up the program for our youth please let me know.
Golf: St Mary’s School will be holding their annual Gof Tournament again this year on June 18, 2018 at the New Richmond Golf Club. Please contact Jeff Williams for details.
Bingo: The regular Sunday and last Friday of the month Bingo sessions are done for the summer. Thank you to all that helped out the past year. We will have family style bingo during Fun Fest. Regular Bingo will start again in the fall on the first Sunday after Labor Day. KC Bingo is by far our largest fund raiser Please contact me at [email protected] to help out.
Food Drive: Ed Zimmerman can always use help on the 2nd Monday of each month, 11:30 a.m. at Wal-Mart (s to help load food and deliver it to the food shelf.
Congratulations! Paul Jensen became an Honorary Life member on May 18th. Paul is a Third Degree member with 40 years of service to our council. Congratulations Paul!
Tabled Motion:
At our May meeting a motion was made and seconded to purchase new bingo equipment to replace the currently outdated Bingo equipment. The current equipment is getting very old, and in some cases, unrepairable. There have been many instances where bingo has had to be stopped during play due to malfunctions in the old equipment. The motion made and seconded to purchase the new equipment at no more than an amount of up to $10,000.
In Remembrance:
John R. Martin died on May 4, 2018. Jack was an Honorary Life member of our council with 38 years of service.
Robert R. Maitrejean died on May 18, 2018. Bob was an Honorary Life member of our council with 56 years of service.
