Grand Knight Report:
November is time for the Eulogy Mass. We will be having our annual Memorial Mass before our meeting on the 10th, try to attend if you can. Mass will begin at 7:00.
Squires: The Squires are still looking for young men to join their ranks. If you have a son or know of a Catholic young man, please encourage them to join. Please contact Kevin Lorentz. The next meeting will be Sunday, December 6th at 5:00 at the KC hall. We will be discussing our upcoming schedule and some possible recreational outings.
Youth Activities: It’s never too early to start thinking about the Free Throw competition. Please let me know if you would like to chair this event for the KCs. Thank You!
Columbus Day Dinner: Our annual Columbus Day Dinner and award banquet was well attended. Congratulations to Jeff and Deb Williams for receiving Family of the Year and to Ed Zimmerman for Knight of the Year. It was good to hear from representatives from 5 Loaves; St. Mary’s School and the recipients of the Tootsie Roll funds. Thanks to all who attended.
Bingo: Congratulation to Greta Veenendall for winning the Cover-all Jackpot of over $3,000 Sunday, October 11th! Please be sure to help out at Bingo when you can. You can contact Doug Mills with the dates that you are able to help with the games.

Fourth Degree: Congratulations to the 14 members of Council #2845 who took their Fourth Degree on October 17th in New Richmond: Fr. John Anderson, John E. Ball, Mark Ball, Don Brown, Lee Brown, Dave Crosby, Deacon Mel Riel, John Dean, Jared Gorka, Robin Haffner, Dennis Hurtis, Gary Jepsen, Doug Mills, & John Mortensen. Congratulations also to John F. Ball, who was the honoree for the day’s events and the evening banquet. Great job Al Lingen and everyone who pitched in to make the day a success.

Honorary Life Status:
Congratulations to Sir Knight David Bibeau, who is now an Honorary Life member. David joined our council in 2011 after many years at Antigo Council #1002, where he was also very active, and has served as Past Grand Knight. Dave is a Fourth Degree member, and his son Mike is also a member of our council.
