Fish Fry: We have set dates for our annual fish fries. They are April 7th & April 14th. We will be in need of as many members as we can get to help with these two Friday events. We also would appreciate any and all desserts brought in for these two days.
Youth Activities: Diocesan Knowledge and Free Throw Competitions have been completed at Ladysmith. Congratulation to Seamus Scanlan, Delaney Brown and Olivia Naser who placed 1st or 2nd and have the opportunity to go on to the state level competition. If you can help at upcoming events, please contact Doug Mills.
Bingo: Here are the dates for KC Bingo for the month of March: 12; 19; 26; 31 (last Friday). What a great way to contribute & help our council raise money for the many causes that we support and its easy work. You can contact Doug Mills with the dates that you are able to help with the games. 715-246-6988 [email protected]
Food Drive: Ed Zimmerman can always use help on the 2nd Monday of each month, 11:30 a.m. at Wal-Mart (southwest end of the building) to help load food and deliver it to the food shelf.
5th Sunday: The next 5th Sunday is April 30th. This is also the last day of the State Convention so I am asking for volunteers to step forward to oversee this activity.
Insurance: If you have any questions about Knights of Columbus Insurance, please contact our field agent: [email protected] 651-324-1209
May He Rest In Peace: Wilfred F. “Willie” Maitrejean joined the Knights of Columbus on July 1, 1944. Willie was a great KC member for over 72 years. He volunteered for any activity, and he and his wife Katherine were always here when we needed them. Willie was friendly, kind, and generous. His positive spirit will remain with those of us who knew him. Our prayers are with his daughter Jean and the family.
Honorary Member: Sir Knight William E. Stacken is our newest honorary member. Bill joined the Knights on Sept. 5, 1978. A Fourth Degree member and Past Grand Knight, Bill continues to serve in a variety of roles both in the council and the Parish. Thanks for your 38 years of service, and congratulations Bill!
Euchre Tournament: Anyone interested in participating April 2nd at Glenwood please contact DD Paul Krenik for full details. ([email protected])
Tabled Motion: We have a tabled motion from our February meeting that has to be published before it can be voted on. The motion was to donate $700.00 to St. Mary School for CPR Equipment. It will be discussed and voted on at the March meeting.
