Grand Knight Report
Welcome to the Advent season. As we celebrate the season these next three weeks, this Advent will not be the same experience as last Advent. It remains to be seen what the coming days and weeks have in store for each of us. However, no matter what happens, Jesus Christ is there to welcome us to the unexpected. He will celebrate with us in joy and he will even feel our pain. You can count on the unexpected, but you can also count on Him to be there with you. He is now and forever, Emmanuel, “God with us.” He is the expected in all things unexpected.
I would like to thank any of the members who helped out with the Thanksgiving Day dinner, whether you helped in the kitchen or delivered meals, as there were over 500 people served last Thursday. I am very glad that we donated $500.00 to this great cause for the community.
This past week our Financial Secretary sent out a letter to you for your dues and raffle tickets along with your new membership card. If you could please send your payment back to Jeff ASAP it would be greatly appreciated. You can also include $3.65 for the Penny-a-Knight-A-Day fund, which benefits Catholic Schools in our Diocese. Also the Knights of Columbus Charity Raffle tickets are enclosed for you to sell to someone or buy for yourself. Please be sure to return all ticket stubs back to Jeff Williams. His address is 1531 Hillside Court New Richmond Wi. 54017.
Our next meeting will include it being a ZOOM meeting. For those attending the meeting in person, we will be having Pizza after the meeting -- my treat. Hope to see you there.
