Troy Schmit announced that he and his wife Terri were successful in their shopping for ski bibs, leggings, sweat pants and other cold weather items for the kids in need in the New Richmond School District. Thank you very much Troy and Terri.
This qualifies our council as doing the Coats for Kids campaign.
The Knowledge Contest for Math and Spelling was recently held at St Mary’s School. Thank you to Principal Laura Jo Jarchow for heading up this event. Winners are eligible to move onto the Diocesan level in Ladysmith, WI on March 10th.

Fish Fry: Tentative dates have been set for the Fish Fries. They are March 9 and 23, 2018. We are looking for someone to step up to chair the events. Al Lingen is looking to step down as the chair. Over the years he has authored the Fish Fry book of knowledge to assist the next chair. Please consider chair or even co-chairing these events. Al is more than willing to guide anyone through the process.

Youth Activities:
The Free Throw Contest was held on February 4, 2018 at St Mary’s School. Thank you to John Zipper who chaired the event. Thanks also to EZ, Kevin Effertz, Jared Gorka, Tim Bailey, Shawn Fox and Ed Everson for helping out. There were 12 participants both boys and girls. The District Free Throw Contest will be held in Hammond on February 11th at St Croix Central High School in Hammond, WI starting at 12:00 pm.
Bingo: KC Bingo continues to roll right along. The February dates are: 02/04, 02/11, 02/18, 02/23 last Friday, 02/25.
KC Bingo is by far our largest fund raiser. Please consider volunteering to help out the council. We could not fund the many things that we do without you and KC Bingo.
