Grand Knight Report: I would like to start by saying “Thank you” for all the hard work Al Lingen as done the past two years, he has done a FANTASTIC job on Grand Knight. I would like to introduce myself to becoming your next Grand Knight, a little about me is that I have lived in New Richmond for a little over 30 years taking 2 years to go to Chippewa Valley Technical college in Eau Claire, WI (for Business Marketing/Business Management) and a year to work down in Disney World in Orlando, FL I am a 2006 New Richmond High School grad with grade school K-8 at St. Mary’s and I am very humble to become your next Grand Knight and to help out this wonderful organization in this great city of New Richmond IC Church Community.
Youth Activities: Punt, Pass and Kick and the Soccer Challenge are fast approaching. We will still need someone to help set this event up.
Bingo: KC Bingo will start back up Labor Day 2021-Memorial Day 2022
Food Drive: Ed Zimmerman can always use help on the food drive please contact him for more information.

Golf Tournament: The Somerset Council 6759 will be holding their 24th annual Golf Tournament on August 20th at Bristol Ridge Golf Course in Somerset, WI. Please contact John Schmitt for more information 715-760-0486 or [email protected].
Also thank you for helping out at the St. Mary’s Golf tournament Doug Mills, Jared Gorka and Shawn Fox. And to the KC members Al Lingen, Jeff Williams, and Phillip Mills for playing in it.
Motion on the table: There is a motion on the table for the July meeting. A motion was made to have the pine trees on the west side of the building removed for $2,000.00 the logs removed for $400.00 and stumps removed for $180.00
Cement steps: Ed Zimmerman has a quote on refinishing the cement steps for the emergency entrance at the hall and Tom Heintz will help out with making the rails for the steps we can have the rails done hopefully by bingo start this year and the cement work would be done the following summer.
Totus Tuus Picnic: (Aug 4, 2021) Kim Palmer emailed me and asked for some help to help set and take down tables and chairs up outside. Set up time 4:30pm- take down time 7:00pm and was wondering if the KC’s would be willing to pick up the cost of the hotdogs and brats.

Keep them in your prayers: Brother Knight Gerald Gartner died June 13,2021. Gerald joined the Knights on March 1,1957, a 64 year member. We will miss Gerald’s kind and generous spirit. We are also sad to learn that Gerald’s wife Marge died on July 2nd. May they be reunited in eternity. Our prayers are with the large extended Gartner family.
