Grand Knight Report:
Before our June meeting we conducted a 1st degree, please congratulate Kyle Warner on completing his 1st degree and joining our council.
The council has decided to proceed with placing a large flag pole in front of the hall. I understand the pole should be installed sometime this month. It should be large enough to fly the American flag and our Knights of Columbus flag at the same time. This should be a very nice addition to the front of our building.
This past Sunday was our 5th Sunday coffee and doughnuts after 9:00 am mass. I would like to thank Terry Palmer, Louie Dabruzzi, and Al Lingen for their help making this event a success.
The council donated $110.00 to the New Richmond fire department for a “Fire Prevention Event” they are planning.
We had our annual elections of officers at our last meeting.
The following officers were elected:

Treasurer – Pat Becker
Advocate – Al Lingen
Warden – Mark E. Casey

Trustees – Don Schoenherr, Vince Kaiser, John Jarchow
We need to start planning for our annual Punt, Pass and Kick competition and our Soccer Challenge. We need to have one or two gentlemen step up and chair one or both of these events for our youth. If you are interested in being a chairman or would like to help out, please let myself or Tony Kilian know how you can help out.
We will be having our annual Fun Fest Bingo again this year on the 11th and 12th @ 7:00 pm. We will need volunteers to help out both nights. This is not one of our big money makers, but it is good family fun for all ages.
We are still sending out over 100 newsletters in the mail each month, if you have an email address, it would save us time and money to be able to send electronically, contact myself or Pat Earley.
Squires
The Squires are still looking for young men to join their ranks, if you have a son or know of a Catholic young man, please encourage them to join. They have been meeting on the 1st Sunday @ 5:00 pm. Please contact Tony Kilian or Kevin Lorenz.

Brother Jessie Skramstad has been fighting cancer; please keep him and his family in your prayers.
Food Drive:
Ed Zimmerman can use some help on the 2nd Monday of the month, 11:30 a.m. at Wal-Mart, West end of the building delivering food to the food shelf.
New Baby
Congratulations to Richard and Ashley Haffner, and Grandparents Robin & Colleen, on the birth of a baby Girl on June 25h, Ivy Elizabeth weighing 8lbs 7 oz.
Fourth Degree Honor Guard Certification
The Western District Master will be conducting a Honor Guard Certification on July 19th in Spooner. It will be held at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. If interested contact Fran Capra 715-822-8960
