Congratulation to our bowlers. The official results of the 100th annual Wisconsin Knights of Columbus state bowling tournament held in Fond du Lac have been posted. Our local council, 2845, was well represented and sent two teams this year. Brother Curt Mitchell had a good weekend placing 5th in singles with an 801 series and 10th in all events with a score of 2161. Brother Joe Willett received a Good Fellowship award. Several other members posted respectable scores as well. A big thank you goes out to Terry Donahue for annually organizing the logistics for our local bowlers. Next year’s tournament will be held in western Wisconsin at Tomah. It would be great if we could send four or more teams as it hasn’t been this close in years. Talk to Terry or Mark Casey for more information. Thanks to Brother Knight Lee Brown for suppling this information.
Congratulations to Joe Jamieson, who is our newest Honorary Member. Joe joined our Council on June 11, 1988 and is a Third Degree member. Joe has been a tremendous help with our youth contests over the years, especially the Free Throw and Punt, Pass, & Kick.
