State Raffle Tickets are available now. We usually distribute the State Charity Raffle tickets in December. If you would like get a head start on your 2019 raffle sales, stop by the KC Hall, or contact Pat Earley for tickets.
The requirements have changed for councils to receive the Columbian Award. Instead of having the 6 categories as before there are now 4. There are 32 Supreme Council programs inclusive of existing and new programs. There are 4 required programs one in each category: Faith, Community, Family, and Life. Achieving he Columbian Award is a requirement for Star Council. Discussion on the required programs at this month’s meeting.
Brother Knight Dave Nelson will be showing a couple of short videos after the regular meeting that relate to Emergency preparedness in the event of an active shooter in the church. There has been discussion within a core group to get the Knights involved. The next core group meeting is on October 29th at 6:30 pm at St Mary’s School Multi-Purpose room.

Columbus Day and award Dinner: Our annual Columbus Day and awards dinner will be held on October 20, 2018 at he KC Hall.
Social hour 5:30 pm

Superior Punt, Pass and Kick Contest is being held at Siren High School football field on October 13, 2018.
Superior Soccer Challenge Contest is being held at Medford High School football field on October 13, 2018.
Membership News:
Congratulations to Al Lingen, Jerry Lorentz, and Greg Mountain.
Al Lingen is our newest Honorary member. Al is our Deputy Grand Knight, and is extremely active in both the Council and Fourth Degree Assembly. Thanks for all you do, Al; and for your 42 years of membership. Greg Mountain and Jerry Lorentz both became Honorary Life members in August, with 46 and 47 years of service, respectively. Our New Richmond Council currently has 17 Honorary members (dues are reduced), and 50 Honorary Life members (no dues required).
Congratulations to Tom Weinmeyer and John Zipperer for attaining the 4th (Patriotic) Degree on September 29, 2018.
